With the Unity Orchestra – Live from New Orleans – 311 Day 2014
Notes: Nine-song live set performed with the Unity Orchestra on March 11, 2014 (311 Day). Available in CD, vinyl and digital formats from 311's website. Widely available elsewhere in digital formats only. Track 1 is an orchestral intro/overture.
Track List
Sometimes Jacks Rule the Realm [Live featuring the Unity Orchestra]
Coda [Live featuring the Unity Orchestra]
Use of Time [Live featuring the Unity Orchestra]
Time is Precious [Live featuring the Unity Orchestra]
Dreamland [Live featuring the Unity Orchestra]
Beyond the Gray Sky [Live featuring the Unity Orchestra]
Will the World [Live featuring the Unity Orchestra]
Notes: 311's first independent release of new music since 1992's Hydroponic EP. A Special Limited 311 Day Edition version contained "Vape'n Away" and three remixes. The 311 Day Edition was available only in New Orleans prior to and during the March 11, 2014 311 Day concert.
Notes: Originally released in three different versions: CD, Vinyl, and Deluxe CD/DVD, which included two bonus tracks ("I Like the Way" and "Get Down") and a "Road to 311 Day" DVD.
Notes: The band (or their label) chose to make this album a collection of their "greatest" radio singles to date rather than a "best-of" collection. "Love Song" is a cover of The Cure's song off their 1989 album, "Disintegration". 311's cover of "Love Song" previously appeared on the "50 First Dates" movie soundtrack. "First Straw" and "How Do You Feel?" were previously unreleased material. Chad Sexton (drums) produced a new mix for "Homebrew". The new mix for "Homebrew" was necessary so that Homebrew's production quality could be on par with the rest of the tracks.
Notes: The hidden track, "Coda", which starts about 25 seconds after the final track, is an instrumental written by P-Nut (bass). Nick Hexum (vocals, guitar) describes it as "a nice mellow melody played up the neck of the bass. In the background you can hear me playing the vibraphone, but more notably the double bass harmonica. It's a huge harmonica with a reedy sound that can play as low as a bass guitar."
Notes: Tracks 1–8, 10–11, and 13–14 were recorded at the University of New Orleans' Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, LA on September 17, 1997. Tracks 9 and 12 were recorded at the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, CA on September 27, 1996. "Who's Got the Herb?" is a cover of a song originally written by Paul Hudson, Earl Hudson and David Byers of Human Rights for their 1991 album, "I Luv". Earl and Paul Hudson also were part of the band, Bad Brains.

Notes: Compilation of some of the the band's early (1988-1991) out-of-print material. Available only from the band's website (and occasionally at their live shows).
Notes: The "Intro" hidden track was played as an intro at many live shows primarily during the tours supporting the Blue Album prior to the release of Transistor. Starting at track 1, press and hold the rewind button on your CD player until you're at about -1:45 to listen to the hidden track. 20 seconds after "Stealing Happy Hours" ends, there are noises that are, allegedly, radio transmissions from outer space.
Notes: The original Capricorn release has "Fat Chance" listed as the 12th and final song. The newer Volcano release has the 11th song, "Do You Right", listed as the last song of the album with "Fat Chance" included on the album as a hidden track. "Fuck the Bullshit" is also included as part of the "Fat Chance" track.
